I love Use It Again Sam bags-- for my reusable shopping and anything I want to tote bags. They've got great colors and they're light and compact and fold into a pouch that's sewn into the inside seam so you don't lose it. I love to use them clothes shopping and always get asked where I got my bag! The designer donates to Stand Up For Kids (org that helps homeless and street kids).

You are right. Tote bags have so many different, wonderful uses. We own about ten and use them to stay organized. For example, we have a music tote that we can grab as we run out the door to music lessons. It has my daughters' music books, CDs, payment or anything else we will need for that week's visit. We also have totes for AWANA, Sunday school, art class, my volunteer work as a secretary of business meetings, the library and the video store. Bags that are easy to clean are just an additional bonus.

Hi, thanks for such nice article about tote bags, I actually have a funtote that I use for my books, sometimes grocery, wonderful bag, easy to clean, highly recommended!
