The best way to get a value on your purses is to take them to a store that sells Coach handbags or a secondhand type store. There are many upper scale secondhand stores that specialize in designer products and can give you a quote based on the condition, availability and demand.

Can you give me any information on the authenticity, the approximate year made and the current market value. of this Coach black leather shoulder bucket bag purse. Manufactured in the United States from natural glove tanned cowhide. Zippers around the front like half moon. Measures 8 inches wide, 5 inches height, strap 1 inch wide, strap adjustable as long as 52 inches. Registration No F5B-4909.

Hi Mary,

You can often tell by the quality of the purse. The stitching will be perfect and even in a Coach and they hold up for years with heavy use, when a fake will tear up very quickly.

You can contact the company with the numbers as well or take to a local retailer to see if it is authentic. Some will not authenticate if you did not purchase there. In that case, you may have to find a secondhand store that is an expert in Coach handbags or try a service such as My Poupette.

I'll need a little more information from you. Where are you getting the number M3S-9286? Is that the serial number on the inside of the purse. You can also look at many recent styles at Coach.com.

Hi, Reona and Tina. I am assuming you mean that you want to find out if the bags you have are authentic or not. This can be tough to determine. The first question to ask yourselves is if you purchased the bag from one of the authorized Coach dealers. To find which retailers sell Coach, visit the Coach website.
