Hi Kaiya-Artzz,

Manufacturers do tend to make minor changes from time to time, but since you did not buy from an authorized retailer, it's impossible to say whether or not the bag is authentic. Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer directly with your concerns. They will be able to verify if there has been a change in the hardware and zips or not.

Hi Karen,

It's hard to say unless you purchased it from an authorized retailer. I would check the Balenciaga website to see if where you purchased was authorized and perhaps phone the company. You can also tell a lot by the price. If the deal seems too good to be true, it likely is.

I have bought a Balenciaga handbag with a serial number QB/T1333-2004 for MYR1,499 yesterday. However, the serial number is imprinted into the label which is sewn into the bag's interior. There is no silver nameplate with serial number and contralloto card inside the cosmetic mirror pocket as per your comments above. As such, I would like to know whether it was an authentic or fake purchase. I really want to know.
