Many of these bags are now coming out in fun and funky colors and designs, so keep your eyes open. I agree that some of the early purses were rather plain. I'm a girl that likes a little bling and I like feminine things. Keep a look at Tommy Hilfiger's line in particular for new fashions. The Frisbee backpack is one of my favorites.

It's hard to find a travel backpack purse that is both fashionable and functional. Women need the ergonomics and versatility of a hands free bag that doesn't look like a college bag.
