Trendy Backpack Purses

Trendy backpack purses may actually be more than just a passing fad, after all. Though they've enjoyed immense popularity during specific periods over the years, they seem to experience resurgence even after they've supposedly faded into obscurity. Either way, their style is similar to a traditional sling backpack, with two adjustable straps, a main compartment designed to hold your daily essentials and perhaps a few extra pockets or compartments to keep smaller items organized and within easy reach.

The beauty of a backpack-style purse is that it dismisses the burden from one shoulder, instead spreading the weight evenly and laying comfortably on the back. This can make life much easier if you typically carry heavy loads on a daily basis. Leather can be casual, too, but it's a naturally polished material that instantly lends some cachet to any outfit. A sleek black backpack purse is instantly trendy when it's complemented by dangling charms (a la Juicy Couture), boasts rich hardware or is accented by some sort of embellishment. Black is, of course, always trendy on its own, while still remaining timeless. Rugged leather is another option, though this style is less trendy and more purposeful and hardy for everyday use.

If you're searching for an alternative to the typical dressy clutch, a glamorous little backpack purse could, in some situations, fill in nicely. While older women are unlikely to sling a backpack on for a night out on the town, teens attending parties or going out with friends might want to add this fun element to their outfit. Glitzy backpack purses can be found in a wide range of styles; some are trimmed with animal-print fur, others are bedecked with rhinestones and sequins. The options are endless, and fortunately many of these are available at low price points to satisfy the younger consumer.
